Gregory Cilmi <BR>Founder/Artistic Director

Gregory Cilmi
Founder/Artistic Director

A member of Actor's Equity Asociation, Gregory has always believed that "if you want something bad enough, you must be willing to do whatever it takes to get it." It takes more than just an interest; it takes passion, obsession, and perhaps a bit of eccentricity to set a quest to turn your dreams and ambitions into reality. From the inception of the "Joey Jar"™ logo back in 1990 to the incorporation of Well Urned Productions© in 2006, this has been an incredible journey. Sure- the road has held many valuable lessons, and the vision to create has never been clearer. "It is my goal to infuse a provocative uniqueness to every project, combined with a winning team; an unshakable determination and insatiable desire for greatness. Shakespeare wrote, "All the world is a stage." To me; a stage is all the world!"
Melissa Kropinack - Dramaturge

Melissa Kropinack - Dramaturge

The poetry of words and the inspired application of the English language have always been my first love.  Theater and the art of creative expression through drama have always been my passions.  My desire to share this love and passions led me to the profession of teaching.  Throughout fourteen years of dance, high school productions, and under graduate shows, I found expression through a major in English Secondary Education with a minor in Theater.  Upon graduation, I began to teach high school English.  Over the ten years that followed, I taught freshmen through seniors, created and implemented a drama class, and earned a graduate degree in Instructional Leadership.  In those ten years, there remained one constant, my love of the translation of text from the written word to the stage.  “To break through language in order to touch life is to create or recreate theater.” Antonin Artaud  My ideal is to “touch life”.
